Daytona TwinTec Models 1006 and 1007 are external plug in ignition modules. These models fit engines including 1990-2002 Sportster/Buell, and 1990-1999 Evo Big Twins. The Model 1006 has a 7 pin connector and the 1007 has an 8 pin connector. Four rotary switches are used to set the operating modes (such as single or dual fire, advance curve family, and multi-spark), adjust the timing advance, and select the rpm limit. Two diagnostic LEDs indicate status and the state of the VOES. The status LED is also used for static timing as it will flash when the engine reaches top dead center (TDC). The unit offers two advance curve families - street and race. You can also adjust the advance slope of the selected curve. The user can optimize the timing advance for a wide range of applications - from stock to highly modified racing engines. You can even download operating parameters and engine history to your laptop and make changes with the optional PC link and software! |

The Daytona TwinTec Model 1005 self contained nose cone ignition module is triggered from the stock timing rotor. This model fits a wide variety of engines including 1970-1984 Shovelheads, 1971-2002 Sportster/Buell, and 1984-1999 Evo Big Twins. The Model 1005 replaces all the OEM ignition components including the bulky wiring harness and external module! The result is a super clean appearance AND state of the art technology!
The Model 1005 is constructed with a low profile machined billet aluminum housing. Four rotary switches are used to set the operating modes (such as single or dual fire, advance curve family, and multi-spark), adjust the timing advance, and select the rpm limit. Twin Tec Twin Cam

For the 1999-2003 carbureted Twin Cam, we offer the TwinTec TC88. The TC88 is constructed with a low profile billet aluminum housing for durability. The TC88 offers easy plug in installation and all switches are accessible from the top - a significant advantage in most applications. Five rotary switches are used to control all engine functions from initial timing to rpm limit. Since the '99-'03 TC88 has a non-adjustable crank position sensor, there is no provision for mechanically adjusting the timing. The TC88 solves this issue by providing a switch for setting the initial timing. A second switch sets the slope of the advance curve. The combination of these two switches allows the user excellent control over the timing scenario - from stock to highly modified.

| Dyna Plug-In Modules |

The Dyna 2000 allows selection between four different advance curves. The new modules offer a quick curve which simulates a mechanical advancer for hot rod motors. There are also four independent rev limiter settings from 6000 to 7500 rpm. The new Retard Mode allows selection of ignition retard of 5, 7, or 10 degrees upon activation of retard input.
Dyna 2000 ignition modules use the stock factory pick-up and simply plug into the existing factory wiring harness on 1991 and later bikes. An extension harness is available for installing the Dyna 2000 on 1990 and earlier bikes.
