Owners of TC88 and TC96 engines often come to us with the same issues: uncomfortable vibration and the high expense of remedying. Well, here’s our Revolution Solution! Send us your crankshaft assembly for a full dynamic balance to precision tolerance to remove all things shakin’! As always, we use only the latest state of the art equipment such as the ultra high-end Sunnen® DB750 dynamic balancing machine. Our in-house engineers have developed specific press fixtures to ensure perfect alignment of today’s three piece crankshafts. The best part? Case Modification

Boring your cases to accept your new big bore kit can be quite the challenge for the inexperienced and should only be attempted by trained personnel with proper equipment. Various suppliers make jigs that can vastly simplify the process for the do-it-yourself mechanic. If you must tackle it yourself, please invest in one of these.

Once the cases have been bored to the appropriate dimensions you will need to plug the center bolt location. This can be accomplished using a 1/8” stainless steel pipe plug. You will no longer be using a center bolt after the case and cylinders are installed. After a great deal of testing on both low and high horsepower applications, we have found the center bolt to be a non-factor in overall case structural integrity and not using it removes the possibility of it inadvertently turning and causing cylinder bezel cracks. Once the case halves are sealed and the cylinders are torqued to proper specifications the center case location will seal properly. If you have any questions about the process please do not hesitate to call for further instructions.
