Case Boring and Timken Conversions

Crankshaft Case Sevices by Revolution Performance

Boring your cases to accept our monster big bore kits should be performed by trained personnel with proper boring equipment.

The Revolution Performance machine shop has CNC machinery to perform your case boring needs for any v-twin bog bore kits.

Once the cases are machined, we plug the center bolt location. After a great deal of testing on both low and high horse power applications, we have found the center bolt to be a non-factor in overall case structural integrity.

Removing the center bolt eliminates the possibility of it inadvertently turning during assembly. This could cause undue stress to the cylinder bezels causing them to crack.

Once the case halves are sealed and the cylinders are torqued to proper specifications, the center case location will seal properly.

Timken bearing conversions remove the old style roller bearing and equip your engine with a much more durable bearing. We remove the old style roller bearing, press a new sleeve in and add an upgraded Timken bearing to insure a bullet proof lower end!

Case boring available up to our Revolution 114" big bore kit or 124"/131" big bore kit with stroker crank.

2006-2016 Twin Cam 98/103 A-B:

Case boring available up to our Revolution 124" big bore kit and 131" big bore kit with stroker crank.

XL/Sportster:

Case boring available up to our Revolution 90" big bore kit.

Evolution Big Twin:

Case boring available up to our Revolution 100" big bore kit and 109" big bore kit with stroker crank.
